Quizzy ("we", "us", "our") is a quiz-generation app for iOS. We take your privacy seriously — especially because our app is designed to be used with children.
The short version: we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Quizzy works almost entirely on your device.
Quizzy collects no personally identifiable information. Specifically:
When you generate a quiz, the subject, question count, question style, and age group you selected are sent to our secure backend server. The backend then calls the OpenAI API to generate your quiz.
We do not send any personal information — only the quiz parameters (e.g. "Pokémon, 10 questions, multiple choice, age 6–8"). No name, device ID, or location is included.
OpenAI processes this request to generate the quiz content. Please see OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle API data. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default.
Quizzy Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs all payment processing.
Quizzy is designed to be used by parents or adults who create quizzes for children. The app itself is not directed at children — adults control the app and no child data is collected.
We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Quiz history is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting the app. We have no server-side copy of your quizzes.
No other third-party services are used.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
