Open the app, go to the More tab, tap Unlock Lifetime Access then tap Restore Purchase. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy, it will restore for free.

Family Memories is designed for iPhone. It will run on iPad in scaled-up iPhone mode, though it's optimised for portrait iPhone use.

Yes — Family Sharing is enabled. If you have Family Sharing set up in iCloud, everyone in your family group can use the premium features once one person purchases.

All your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Nothing is sent to our servers — we don't have any. Your memories are yours.

Your memories are included in your iPhone's regular iCloud Backup automatically. As long as iCloud Backup is enabled in Settings, your data is safe. You can also export a PDF memory book from the More tab as an additional backup.

The free tier supports one child profile. With the Lifetime unlock you can add unlimited children — perfect for growing families.

Each year on (or around) your child's birthday, you sit down together and answer the same 17 questions. Over the years you'll have a beautiful record of how their answers change. You can compare year-by-year answers with the Lifetime unlock.
