1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect
DemoFlow AI collects only what is necessary to provide its core functionality. Here is a full breakdown:

We do not collect: names, email addresses, IP addresses, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or any personal data beyond what is listed above.
3. Screen Recording
DemoFlow AI requires macOS Screen Recording permission to capture the iOS Simulator window. This permission is requested on first launch via the standard macOS system dialog.
Your screen recording is processed entirely on your device using Apple's ScreenCaptureKit and AVFoundation frameworks. The video file is never uploaded to any server — it lives in your Mac's Application Support folder until you delete it.
You can revoke Screen Recording permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.
4. OpenAI and AI Processing
DemoFlow AI uses the OpenAI API (GPT-4o vision) to analyse your app's screens and generate a narration script. Here is exactly what is sent:
- Individual PNG frames extracted from your Simulator recording at key moments
- A structured prompt asking GPT-4o to describe the UI and suggest narration
What is not sent to OpenAI:
- Your full video recording
- Audio
- Any personal information
- Your name, email, or account details
OpenAI processes these frames according to their Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not use API-submitted data to train their models by default. For details, see OpenAI API Data Privacy.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit 2. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information.
Subscription status is verified locally via Transaction.currentEntitlements — no account or login required. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID.
6. Data Storage and Retention
All data created by DemoFlow AI is stored locally on your Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/DemoFlow AI/. This includes:
- Recording files (.hevc)
- Exported video files (.mp4, .gif)
- Project files and narration scripts
- Thumbnail images
You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app and its Application Support folder. We have no server-side copy of any of your content.
7. Third-Party Services
DemoFlow AI integrates with the following third-party services:
- OpenAI API — AI screen analysis and narration generation. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — subscription management. See Apple Privacy Policy.
We do not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
8. Children's Privacy
DemoFlow AI is a professional developer tool intended for users aged 17 and over. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, please contact us at jakedalerourke@gmail.com.
9. Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:
- Access: Your data is in ~/Library/Application Support/DemoFlow AI/ — always accessible to you
- Deletion: Delete the app and its Application Support folder to remove all data permanently
- Portability: Your exported videos are standard .mp4 and .gif files — portable to any application
- Revoke permissions: Screen Recording permission can be revoked at any time in macOS System Settings

10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of DemoFlow AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
We will never make changes that reduce your privacy protections without clear notice.
